THE 2023 CONFERENCE

We were incredibly proud to welcome Tim Balcon, CEO of the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB), as our keynote speaker as well as a host of other inspiring sessions and speakers who took to the stage throughout the day. Having not been able to hold face-to-face events during the pandemic, it was fantastic to have  two hours of dedicated networking time for delegates to establish relationships with other industry professionals on a more personal level.

  • 10.00 - 10.40 Session: Your ONE true advantage: Why a brand is so much more than a logo, catchy slogans, or a nice design!

As the construction industry becomes more marketing savvy, Lee will be discussing the

importance of building a robust brand strategy for businesses looking to gain a genuine

    commercial advantage.

With many scaffolding businesses operating in similar ways, it’s increasingly difficult to

differentiate businesses from others in the marketplace. Lee will show you that this couldn’t

be further from the truth, and in this session he will encourage you to ‘own your story’.

Whilst there’s always merit in a company promoting their ‘unique selling points’, true

differentiation is only gained by those businesses that invest time and budget in creating a

credible brand story about their company, that their clients can relate with.

So what’s a Brand Story you might ask? In this session, Lee will demonstrate why a brand

is so much more than a logo, catchy slogans, or a nice design. By showing you examples of

a well-founded brand story, he’ll help you think about your brand positioning to meet your

    desired customers.

Lee will show why businesses need to gain maximum buy-in from all stakeholders and staff.

Factually, businesses that neglect their internal brand run the risk of lower motivation and

    productivity from their people.
