ScaffCon24 now adds dinner dance to event and moves to The Belfry Hotel and Resort

The Scaffolding Conference (#scaffcon24), organised by the Scaffolding Association is open to all and now includes an evening dinner dance with live band and DJ.


The event takes place on Friday 11th October 2024 at The Belfry Hotel and Resort, a prestigious and world-famous venue having held the Ryder Cup and numerous PGA tours www.thebelfry.com.


In its third year, the Association is proud of how this popular annual event brings together key players, experts and enthusiasts from the scaffolding and access industry.

The Conference continues to provide a friendly and unique platform for networking and knowledge exchange as well as fostering collaborations amongst scaffolding professionals. The keynote speakers and discussion panels will focus on a series of specific scaffolding industry topics addressing issues that directly affect those working in this sector of the construction industry.

Industry Speakers Announced for ScaffCon24

The Scaffolding Conference (Scaffcon24) is pleased to announce this year’s keynote speaker is Tim Balcon , Chief Executive of the CITB who will be discussing current industry issues that affect this sector, as well as the post election landscape. Other speakers include Lee Greatorex , HSE Inspector from the Regulatory Support Unit, Construction Sector of the HSE, and Robert Candy , CEO of the Scaffolding Association. There will be a range of discussion panels, the first one of which is “Demystifying Temporary Works” led by Robin James , Operations Director at the Temporary Works Forum (previously Managing Director of the NASC). The other two panels are “Working at Height Updates” and “Project Management” with live examples. These panels will focus on current scaffolding industry regulations, best practice, skills and training.
